Right now IMHO I would guess the probability to 20/80 against any layoffs. And yes making the grand appearance in front of the House committe talking layoffs may appear self defeating, but on the other hand what better weapon to wave than the threat. However, as you well know, the thinning shears is always sharp. but I do think MU sees itself as a great "American Company" striving valiantly in the face of tremendous odds. And I can't help but believe that a little flag waving will help the cause. Greg
