John, I agree with your point of view. I care less about OJ trial. At least one thing came out clear is American Justice system is much cheaper than many people imagine or claim. There are plenty of examples to cite. Regarding recent Clinton scandal. As I always give less than D- for most media including major ones. I am always suspecious if these things come out of money hungry media. As one of the jounalists recently quoted if you repeatedly pound false information to less than peanut sized analytical oriented common people'e brain, they will start to think false as truth and vice versa. These alleged scandals several quarters: sensation free world events, Starr keeping his lofty job, diverting attention on the important middle east issue, and so on. People get what they deserve. I come from a culture where even young teen girls talking to teen boys are not social norm. Based on my moral background, I cannot understand the amount of attention given by these filth filled media spewing day in and day out garbage after grabage. Look at what they do. When a lady, who exhibited almost prostitude like inclination died, they kept on portraying her as though the world lost everything. At the same time when a lady of impecable saintly stature died they relectuntly covered the event. When the Pope visits Cuba which has more bearing on Cuba's return to democracy than 30+ years of fultie effort by CIA and US media, they drop the ball to come here to picth tent around where buddy pissed and pooped. As I said people get what they deserve. US will be a far better country morally, if they can start prosecuting news media when they spread false rumors or prosecute innocent people without enough evidence. Till there is strong demand from people for quality journalizm, we are not going to have better information. Thanks to electronic revolution we have threads like SI to express what one feels and easy find the facts than what we can get from money hungry news media. But who knows how long this losts. As far Clinton is concerned, I care less as long as he does what he is elected to do. At the same time if he had broken rules, he should not be treated differently than ordinary people. -Karun
