I think Israel should pay for Israel not me. Particularly when they can afford shit we can't. I think corporations should not be subsidized by the government, that's anti-competitive. I think we should spend money on defense, not offensive invasions, and supporting dictatorships. That's gotten us into a lot of trouble. It caused 9/11 and cost us 50% of the auto industry. I was against detante from the start. I was against giving them favored trade status. I've already stated that. You should pay your fair share of taxes. I'm for luxury taxes not income taxes. If you live frugally you shouldn't pay much. If you buy yachts and million dollar cars you should pay through the nose. BUT... if we cut the military, stopped subsidizing corporations and dictators, and stopped jailing people like Woz and Jobs for victimless crime... your income tax bill would probably be a LOT smaller and the deficit would go away... AND there'd be plenty to make sure everyone gets decent health care. Its not hard to figure out, just look at the rest of the industrialized world.
