QCOM is only gaining market share. I don't think Asia will have an effect on QCOM. They are growing rapidly in Europe. Lots of exposure next week at the Super Bowl and this will only increase Qcom's exposure . According to charts, Qcom should reach over 70 again soon.

Justin,
There is some logic in what you say. I like Q, but I have never heard what impact Korea will have on their bottom line. I don't know if anyone could really get a grasp on the repercussions there.
I am also looking for an entry point, maybe we missed a good one, or this last jump could just be the last hurrah. I noticed on Second Opnion (TA site) that they said to short it, but if you would have shorted it when they said, you would be a tad depressed about now!
I am sitting and waiting, trying to make sense of it all, and my conclusion is......duh!
John

Justin,

The stock is a bargain right now so why wait? One of these days (hopefully soon) the stock is going to shoot up and never look back. Who knows - you might have a shot a picking up more shares at these prices or lower next quarter, but the overall trend in Qualcomm's business is way up and the stock price will eventually reflect that.

btw, the Nasdaq is showing surprising resilience right now. I think the Asian crisis is factored in to current prices. If the Nasdaq has a nice rally here, QCOM will be back at its all-time highs very quickly after their blowout earnings.
