Even if a Grand Solar Minimum is underway the energy output from the sun will decrease by only about 0.1%, a very small amount relative to the additional energy retained by increasing CO2.

Right now the sun is at the minimum of its 11 year cycle while the earth's atmosphere is warming rather than cooling. A causal relationship relationship between total solar irradiance and the earth's temperature has not been demonstrated. In fact, since about 1950 TSI has been falling as earth's temperatures are rising.

I will believe in global cooling when I see successively cooler years the way we've seen with global warming. Yesterday, with humidex it was 39 degrees in Toronto IN OCTOBER!

Trust your thermometer, not talk radio.
