dmf, Thanks re: RSI. Never thought it was a stock, just didn't
catch the use before. Shorthand abbreviations are all too common
on SI threads, and if you miss the reference, you are out of luck.
It so happens I have been interested in Dragon voice recognition
software for about a year based on a news piece I saw, but my
understanding is Dragon is a private co. and so no stock available.
The product is supposed to be quite effective as it parses words
correctly out of natural run-together speech. Don't know how
well it figures out diction or different words that sound the
same. I haven't noticed the product in my wanderings thus far.
Is is available in retail stores? It sure would help to get
more finger dumb users into action and should up the traffic
on E-mail tremendously.
