Precisely the point. It does go hand in hand, doesn't it?

Tom, I found on the net the article from U.S. News and World Report last week. The part I have url'ed is the part about late-term abortions in particular. I thought you might find it interesting. On a second reading, I find much more information about the sort of abortion where the live baby is cut into pieces inside the mother before being pulled out. One of the most curious parts of the pro-abortion argument is that tiny fetuses do not feel pain, and yet their nerve endings are developed, they suck their little thumbs and even masturbate within the womb, and respond to stimuli like music.

This was the same argument used to argue that no anaesthesia was needed during circumcision, but the thought on that is changing rapidly, and the American Academy of Pediatrics, while frowning on the procedure at all, now has shown that male babies who have anaesthesia are not in so much medical danger from the procedure, and heal better.
