All TDFX investors, try to listen to Diamond's conf call today,

here's the SI post that has the tele number,
Message 3235267

My summary of the call in relationship to TDFX;
Even the analysts can't seem to hold back their anxious curiousty on
TDFX based chip sales and backlog on the Diamond cards. Very telling!!

The CEO also commented that they are estimating a 80% AGP penetration
by 3rd qtr this year as compared to PCI ( card based, not motherboard based),
which seems a little odd to me at least.
I can't see how the existing PCI market will give way to AGP so quickly,
unless compelling AGP based games or cards show up by the middle of the year
that could drive that interest, and with Voodoo2 coming up I think PCI will
still rule this year as far as 3D acceleration goes.(IMO)
And speaking of Voodoo2 the Diamond CEO said that they believe that it
(Voodoo2) will be a 1st qtr product inspite of some "minor slippage in the 3d
chip production" (in almost those words!). Thats yet another upcoming
plus for all TDFX investors!

A very positive call indeed, a must listen for the TDFX curious investor,
as well as for the Diamond invested!!

Go over to Iomega's board and read thier posts, then look at the stock price today to see what unrealistic whisper numbers + hype will do to a stock. By the way, TDFX is soaring in after hours trading to 24 1/8 on one trade of 12,700 shares. Maybe we'll see 100 tomorrow and earning of 50 cents a share on the 27th.
