NGL Energy Conference Call Take-Aways

1. This was the best conference call I have heard from NGL. Credit to CEO Mike Krimbill who did a great job explaining the current situation with the company and its near future.
2. First time water division chief Doug White participated on the call. It shows the importance of understanding the water division and its importance to the company. I hope to see him participate in future calls.
3. Even though NGL sold two divisions, EBITDA has grown from from $380 million to $600 million. (that's a 79% increase for those of you who are math impaired)
4. Since I am an income investor, the distribution and its safety are the most important factor for me. NGL had a 1.0x coverage in the last 12 months and management expects that to reach 1.3x by the end of March (we will know if management met this goal when they report earnings in late May), but with the best two quarters yet to be reported for the fiscal year, I am optimistic.
5. If you look into NGL's past (think two years ago) when management guided to $500 million EBITDA and were planning on raising the distribution gradually back to $2.56, NGL almost reached $26 a unit. So now NGL will surpass $500 million EBITDA (possibly $600 million) and have 1.3x distribution coverage and NGL is $10 a unit.

So, if you take away all the noise, such as climate change fanatics and trade wars, NGL Energy's future looks good and, in my humble opinion, should be trading much higher.

NGL Energy Extremely Undervalued imho
