That matches my experience and current attitude about Samsung. But I might still give Note 9 a chance, especially since I really like having the stylus. I am hoping that they learned how to build lasting phones. If I find something that equals it (even without the stylus) I will pick that over Samsung.

BTW, how long did you get updates for your Samsung phone?

[Edit] I had a similar experience with Samsung dishwasher. It had all the right features, looked great, and was damn quiet. But it died on us multiple times. Eventually we got a full refund and bought something else. Samsung laser printer also had issues.

Yep, I will buy Samsung's TVs, SSDs, and RAM, but never a major appliance.

I've heard far too many bad things about their appliances to ever trust them.
