Tommy Boy, I bet you don't even know the difference between the two surveys so let me spell it out for you. ISM surveys only large companies while IHS Market data surveys small, medium and large companies in the proper configuration as defined by the official data. Weak ISM below 50 for two straight months confirms my thesis that the trade war is impacting large manufacturing companies that derive a substantial amount of their revenue overseas. After a 10 year bull market, the market takes ISM more seriously since it views the market as being in a late cycle stage. The longer the dumb Trump trade war continues, the worse the manufacturing data will get. Will be good to see your boy sweat it out and suffer, along with blind devotees like you.
