Hi Michael....

To the best of my knowledge, the company has no choice in the matter. On the other hand, assuming the company believes that the specialist is negatively affecting the normal trading of the stock, letters that shareholders write to TFS to that effect can be used as ammunition in the company's effort to force a change.

If you believe as I do that this specialist is ineffective and weak, write that to Three Five...with attention to Jeff Buchanan. I am planning to write a similar letter myself over the weekend.

There is simply no justification for a NYSE stock to have its markets quoted at a three-eighths spread with 200 shares up. Frankly, it is an embarassment to the Exchange and to TFS.

Whether the specialist is bright enough to feel embarassed isn't clear at this time.

Have a good evening.
