Denice the one thing about TA that I know is buy when the 200 day MA is trending up and when the stock is above the 200 day MA. If the MA begins to flatten be careful. If it starts heading down it's too late to avoid losses and life sucks. Biggest gains come when the stock breaks a flat MA on the upside and MA starts moving strongly up (may initially pull back a tad). That's about everything I know about TA.

Denice,

Seems like you're doing quite well... better than some of us to be sure, if you got in at <20. Possibly 24ish close tomorrow!

There are myriads of indicators out there: TA, news, economics, Clinton, company/sector fundamentals, etc.... use what's more comfortable to you, that's normally what you know best. Buying is very easy...selling is not; regrets are worse.

An indicator that you'll find as one of the simplest and most used is the Stochastic Oscillator... %k & %d, simple. It's in the link I gave you.

Again g'luck,
SF

PS: The AMAT thread also has a lot of good, knowledgeable people...visit it frequently. For that matter, the whole SI is chuck full of those kind of people... I mostly lurk in this thread and more active in others.
