Very sad to hear his passing. He had a great insight on many things and brought a lot to our community. I enjoyed our discussions and he made me think about my own conclusions and that made me a better investor.

RIP JimisJim we will miss you.

Reading the posts here, it's quite a testament to Jim's impact on many lives here and I'm sure elsewhere, as well as mine. He has been and will be missed. God bless him and his family.

There is a fellow I have known online since the 1990's. He was a Macintosh guy. When he was the editor of a small town paper, they were the first newspaper who did the whole process on Macintoshes.

That was our first connection. We participated in various investment fora over the next couple of decades. His daughter grew up, went to college and became an excellent rock bass guitarist. Jim and his wife recently retired.

Just learned today that Jim Whelpton died recently, just short of 65 years old. That has me off my feed.

To Jim's family, my condolences. May you find peace.
