I just reached for speed-dial and told my people to go to cash this morning. On balance I saved quite a bit. There are a great many good stocks. Like foot-soldiers, they become interchangable after a point. Luckily I don't have any trouble finding them. I just don't like the way breadth is going, especially in financials, and I don't like the market's response to tech earnings. Have you noticed what's happening to the brokerage stocks here? ERTS could be a different case. Few Asia issues, and I think it's a great play on the sub-$1,000 PC. BTW, Aavid Thermal (AATT) is a great play on Intel's chip volume without Intel's margin issues. There is plenty of tension on the tape. The market could go either way, so I'll wait and see. Too much to lose. This latest rally has proven very anemic so far.
