no front running with the U.S. brokers?
Correct, based on my research and experience over the past 5 years.
Institutional brokers are heavily involved in algorithmic trading but not so much the retail brokers.
Assume your scenario is true. Even if the broker bought at the bid (32.53), their profit would have been 91 cents. How is that better than charging a $5 commission?

I will agree to disagree with you and your hypothesis.
And my SA cyberfriends have no issues regarding front running of U.S. brokers either.
Then again, they are trading highly liquid securities, not Canadian TSXV stocks.
