Holly, You know not many people will agree with this: I believe you can become more effecent on a DOS system rather than a windows system.

The reason I liked DOS programs, is because they were so quick. To get the same speed with a windows system....is you CAN'T. I don't care how fast your computer is, windows can't beat DOS for speed. Unless you are a slow typer or data imputer.

I find with each new version of a windows program that comes out the slower the program gets. I picked up Quicken 98, and WP8.0 and they are slow. I am running a Dell 166MMX 64 megs ram, with a fast graphics card, I know Ken's system will leave mine in the dust, but if you are quick at typing and know your programs inside-out, I personaly beleive you will beat a person on a windows machine.

Matter of fact I still use the odd DOS program, some of those programs were very cleverly designed.
