My bet is DEC
You are not alone. DEC price has gone from $36 up to $45 lately and P/E now is higher than that of CPQ. There's no other reasons for that except anticipated acquisition. DEC seems to realized that they can't survive on their own and they are getting ready to be bought. They got rid of chip production, but still have fat to be trimmed. BTW, their market cap is twice that of Unisys.
I don't know much about both co's. Looks like UIS acquisition may cause less headaches for CPQ, at least in the short term.
