The problem with universal healthcare is people without a lot of coin will be universally screwed when they need special care. My wife and I have been on both sides of this fence having been subjected to substandard doctors that dam near killed us both.

I won’t go into all the details but there is a good reason why all the best hospitals are filled with patients from countries all over the world with universal healthcare. I have had procedures done at will’s eye and Jefferson in philly and lesser known inferior hospitals in New Jersey in Elmer and Sewell. I can tell you there is a life and death difference between good doctors at good hospitals and bad doctors at bad hospitals.

When everyone is given the same care and the profit motive is taken out of the equation the chances of losing your life or receiving a bad outcome goes up exponentially. I think our current system has plenty of room for improvement but going socialist is a prescription for a system whereby going under the knife is tantamount to Russian roulette.

I appreciate your willingness to reflect on what you write and will strive to do the same. Take care.

"Apple's lack of innovation is the constant drum limey pounds around here. However, a company does not have to be constantly innovative to be a huge moneymaker"

You sound like Steve Balmer in the heady days of MSFT.

Lack of innovation accounts for the 19% YOY decline in iPhone sales.

And Apples ME TO strategy in content delivery.... will be a bust that they will never recover from.

Lack of innovation has made iOS irrelevant.

Looks like MSFT and Google are hunkering down for the Asia battle... American tech duopoly.

USA dominates with Android/Windows, Space, biotech/genetics, quantum, Energy and AI/ML
