In the swift film set in which I move down in New York I have had a call this morning about Bill and his liasons. They are commonly known: four or five examples in the last year that this person knew about. The Gore people are, evidently, choosing his VP already... just in case.

A shame that we have the "State of the Union" coming up next week. Is there any more aptly named speech that Bill could delivery right now?

And so it goes, as Kurt Vonnegut says. I just hope this government isn't devolving into chaos at a time when it looks more and more like IT is going to hit the fan.

Tommaso: This story has similarities to Al Capone. He was guilty of far greater crimes and everyone knew it. but it was the one they can prove, so it had to do. His abuse of power from FBI files to soliciting illegal caqmpaign contibutions from foriegn countries in exchange for who knows what, is the problem. This country is great only because no man is above the law. I think it is a sign of health for a system to be able to rid itself of such a leader and go on.
