I think you have to look at the unfortunate combo of lower oil prices and missed earnings estimates for Schlumberger and Diamond. When the whole sector drops, SDC seems to go along, often with a bit more volatility. With the exception of a cancelled contract on one of their rigs awhile back, I've seen nothing negative on SDC. I'm expecting a strong earnings report.
