I am sorry, I do not regard anything printed on "skeptical science" as a useful source for data for scientific use.

. It's a political pundit website at best.

Let me illustrate...

Those data points selected and displayed on your post by skeptical science are unlikely imho

The sun heats the Earth, I will leave potential terrestrial internal heating processes aside for a moment.

At any time the incident heat transfer from the Sun to the Earth is exactly balanced by the heat leaving the Earth into space. Stefan–Boltzmann law is at work (temperature in Kelvin) raised to the forth power determining the heat loss rate.

where, E = -dQ/dt , is rate of Heat radiation per unit area

A is Total Area of the object

s is Stefan–Boltzmann constant

T is Temperature of the object (285 K) & To is Temperature of the surroundings (just a few degrees Kelvin)

e is emissivity (A body that does not absorb all incident radiation (sometimes known as a grey body) emits less total energy than a black body and is characterized by an emissivity)

So... what is being said is the Interaction Effect of 400 ppm of CO2 is driving the temperature of the Planet. That is the incident heat received from the Sun is being retained by the Earth atmosphere because of increased levels of CO2. Water vapour and clouds swamp CO2 as Main Effects, as do aerosols and other particulate pollutants. There is my fav of course too... Cosmic Rays.

It's a highly unlikely scenario, and it's barking mad to make CO2 a primary project of the human race to try and counteract, even if we could.

Fact is, if temperatures are forced high or low, the weather systems on Earth will counteract and restore the Planet temperatures to a median level and that has been what has been observed to date. Many human lives depend on the intelligent use of the resources we have at hand. Your solution is that of a Climate Demagogue. Just as lethal and Dangerous to some lazy individuals who would ignore changes in the climate and be insensitive to the probable causes. (cloud cover and the Cosmic Ray Index imho)

So these are dangerous times, and we will see who is right eventually. I am not over concerned by CO2 levels because I think cooling in more likely soon rather then more global warming.
