What steps do you think the company should have taken. I would like to get a better idea of your criticism. I am sure that someone going to the SHM would be willing to ask why these steps have not been taken.

Best wishes,
Dan

John,

I would like to say that ORCL is a good long-term buy at these levels, but I fear that there will some substantial stagnation of the DBMS market until Y2K is resolved. This will likely impact all of the players, not just ORCL.

Look at Ed Yourdon's most recent comments in ComputerWorld Magazine related to IT moratoriums on new projects. I believe he may have substantial logic for his argument that the good times are over for new systems imtegration until those nasty little "zeros" fall into their proper place.

Y2K will certainly be the prevailing distraction for IS management for the next two-three year.

Just my humble opinion.

Regards,

Ron
