Christine.." when I was talking about sexual addiction in relation to Billy, it was in NO WAY to excuse his behavior. This simply is a recognized mental illness,"

Come on, the real mental illness Christine, is that most people don't get enough touching, contact, stimulus, sex and sexuality in the best sense of it.

CHristine,
I'm aware of the disorder-(I was a Psych major). What I am unaware of--and maybe you have some definitive knowledge of--is an official diagnosis and refusal of treatment on the part of Clinton. It disturbs me when statements are made that declare as fact what is actually opinion or supposition. Maybe this wasn't. (I'm not much of a news follower.) Certainly the destructive nature of his actions might fit the profile, but society's readiness to label, explain, and presume on the basis of lay or partial knowledge, while often fun, can shadow the truth and we need to provide caveats when offering possible explanations. Unless you have access to a therapist's records, and firsthand knowledge of someone's life, isn't this just supposition on your part?
