We discussed "who to blame" - I do not believe that conclusion would matter. Blame the elders, firstly, and blame the youth secondly. One of the takeaways last night from the boyz at the shared meal was that to a man, all said they would not decamp HK as this is the most exciting times, and so far, HK has been quite exemplary, even as there are rioters amongst demonstrators and bad cops amongst the officialdom.
