>> Iomega (IOM:NYSE) reported fourth-quarter earnings of 13 cents per share, 2 cents short of the five-analyst expectation but up from the year-ago 7 cents. The company blamed a decline in demand from Asia, which led to postponed shipments. Iomega released its earnings report right after the bell and was killed in late composite trading, finishing down 4 3/16 at 9 (the unofficial New York close was 12 3/4).<<

Truff -

This is actually inaccurate. Unfortunately, the financial press is only reporting that KE blamed Asia for the revenue shortfall, when in fact he said that 50 mil might be attributed to Asia, but, and he emphasized this more than once, the far more significant problem was not being able to get new products out the back door.

I think KE handled the call well. The analysts were all asking the tough questions, too.

One interesting point is that the split wasn't mentioned once in the entire call, by anyone. Unless I missed it.
