ANDW

Well, here is how I look at it. I bought it at 23.5, posted it at 24, and sold it today at 28. First, that's about a 20% gain, which is pretty good for less than a week. Second, I sold because the tick flattened this afternoon and only rose in a flurry of trades in the last half hour and then dropped. Third, the % rise and rate of change has been decreasing. Not a good sign. Fourth, most of the TA inicators are slowing. Fifth, the best high its had in the last 6 months was only a couple of bucks above this, and that was a spike. So that means we are within 15% of the best high in recent times. Is the sector, outlook and market bullish enough to carry it up. Maybe. Will increased margins really help against asian flu. Probably not. Are traders going to start taking profit around 25% gain. Yes. And did a lot of them get in before or near me. Probably. Is the potential for a buck or so more worth the risk of losing half the gain? No.

ANDW looks like it may be peaking to me...but hey, I'm wrong a lot. Tomorrow morning I will still be sitting on a $4.50/share profit. I could be up $5 if I had stayed in, or at $3.50 or less if it drops, wondering why I didn't follow my usual pergentage gain rules...
