I didn't get into Whitewater, because that is a very long discussion. I believe Bill was guilty, but that dude was made of teflon and we all knew it. Plus, he was very charming and smart. It was hard not to like the guy, even though he was a Democrat. No wonder he escaped. I'd rather not litigate the past, so no need to rehash that sordid affair. As to your assertion that Republicans started it, well, that's not true. This kind of thing has gone on for quite a lot longer than that. Nixon comes to mind and there are others before him. This time around, though, it does seem to me to be a bit more virulent. The Kavanaugh hearing for example, where you have Democrats that are so willing to destroy a man's reputation based on hearsay and on a political agenda and to destroy the most sacred of American Justice's foundations, which is the presumption of innocence until proven guilty. Democrats have become unhinged, quite visibly. It's an epic hissy fit. I have an idea for you. Choose a candidate that can beat Trump and then get your candidate elected. That's how we Americans like to do things. And I'll guarantee you this. If a Democrat gets elected, you won't hear me say, "that's not my President." If you elect a Socialist, I will still say that is my President, because I'm an American and I will respect the results of the election. But that doesn't seem to be the case for Democrats. I remember during the Hillary Trump debates Hillary was adamant that Trump say he would respect the results of the election. And then Hillary turned right around and acted like a little baby saying the results weren't fair when she lost. Then she stoked "the resistance", which got us to where we are today. That's a spoiled brat for you. She thought she was entitled to be crowned Queen. Turns out she's a terrible person and no one wanted her. Not even the Millennials, because many of your peers didn't like her either. They knew she had cheated Bernie out of a fair nomination process and she was eminently unlikeable even to her own party members. Go figure. We in the center and right knew that all along. But now, you guys are acting like spoiled children and reaching for straws to overturn the election results. Well I have news for you. Ain't going to happen. Focus on the election. That's your best chance in a Republic.
