Pugs,

Thanks for your answer. The following...>>I think the investor , and the possible second investor liked OVIS for 5-6MM reasons!! (IMO)<< is my biggest concern. Making this sized investment based upon a very uncertain "short position" is very strange in my opinion. This type of investment could have been made 'indirectly' in the shares of the company rather than 'directly' in the company. Doing it the way that they have suggests that they (the alleged investors) obviously got more shares for going 'directly' than in going 'indirectly.' What does this mean for the other shareholder??

My other point is that if these investors have invested in order to "bust the short," I hope that they are on-line and real-time because their opportunity for pump-and-dump will be very short lived.

TC

Pugs (or anyone):

"I think the investor , and the possible second investor liked OVIS for 5-6MM reasons!! (IMO)"

The $5M equity purchase by the first investor involves Rule 144 restricted shares not eligible for trading for one year (per the 10/09/97 8-K). How can this investor legally profit from a hypothetical short squeeze if it is over in less than one year? (And does anyone really imagine that the short squeeze will still be playing out when the Rule 144 shares are eligible for trading?)

BTW, do you know if the second investor is also receiving Rule 144 shares?

TIA
