I agree with your assessment of the conference call.

One thing that I haven't seen anyone mention is that early in the call, while on the subject of R&D, KE mentioned plans for important expansions (or extensions) of the Zip line in 98. Sounded like he was talking about new products beyond just the 12.7mm Zip.

Yes, there's no question that Iomega is not problem-free. What gets me is that anyone expects them to be. They have dealt with all kinds of problems over the past two years, and they continue to grow.

Let's all not forget that often companies don't like to announce new, improved products until they are reasonably close to shipping. Don't expect a Clik! announcement until at least a couple months before Clik! becomes available.
