Mainly, the Sierra Club, Mother Jones, and their ilk, should be told to shut the hell up. And we should go back to clearing dead brush out of our forests.

Moving them underground is a onetime expense. No matter how much maintenance you make, powerful winds will break some of the lines; and even if you trim the trees, there will be dry brushes and that is how these fires start.
