>>I don't guess. Some say the short interest figures will tell us soon,NO THEY WON'T. I am telling you pure and goddamn simple, we have a short seller, if you don't wish to accept that fact, fine, but it is a fact.

Skip, I don't doubt you, but why wouldn't the short interest figures
indicate the presence of a short seller?

On another note, just checked the Target in El Cerrito. Handheld
games are way back in a corner, but still no Bass Fishing. Apparently
was restocked once and sold out again after X-mas.

From what I have read and heard, my only concern is competition
from Tiger. I think somebody posted something awhile back about
Tiger products in Las Vegas at the CES show. Wayne, did you see
anything interesting?

Skip, my last post as stated was speculative and I appreciate your insight into the trading by short seller(s). I agree with recent posts that pretty soon this will be a moot point as shorting against strong fundamentals can be very very dangerous. David mentioned possibility of earnings being released first week in March (said he will firm up date when he returns) - this is almost 1 week earlier than last year. Could move up run by 1 week. Technicals suggest we are positioned for move soon - at this time I do not think it will carry us to new highs given technical damage thats been done - but I think it is beginning of a series of moves followed by corrections that will take us to new highs by late spring/ early summer and even higher by winter.

Skipard,
It is not for lack of belief as much as perhaps lack of concern.
If someone could tell me hard and fast that FAHN or whoever
shorted X amount of shares and give some time frames, then
it would put all of the "to do" into some perspective, and could
be addressed to the appropriate degree that it warrants. When
all that we have is "we have a shot seller", I am not real sure
what the value of this by itself is, other then creating more
speculation and guess work. Short seller or not, there are other
trades going on out there that are typical to how this stock has
performed in past quarters and previous trends.

If the goal of the shorters are to drive the price down, they have
failed to do so over the past week. As of the 15th we are up
$1 on the daily low, up $1 11/16 on the daily high, and up $1 7/8
on the close. I pick the 15th due to post #1916. Considering the
overall market conditions, this is not to shabby. To a large
degree Skipard, the stock seems to be reacting very typical for
the time frame to earnings release. If we are now going into a
lower volume period, this would also be in line with past
pre release run ups.

I am not doubting your information. I only fail to see it as
outweighing the basic trends and fundamentals that I see as
still being in control of this stock. The shorts will have to
cover and to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
As far as I am concerned, anyone shorting this stock is standing
in front of a freight train. Maybe I am missing the big picture on
the effect of this but I assure you that this is not anymore of a passtime for me then it is for you Skipard.

Best wishes,
Wayne
