I thought the same thing about Obama though. I didn't think the US was progressive enough to elect a black or mixed race president- and I'm glad I was wrong about that. And then I got my hopes up, and thought the US could elect a woman, and we did, but with the cheating, she didn't get the job she was entitled to. So now I think the US is pretty much a shithole country. Prove me wrong, US, Prove me wrong- get rid of Putin's bitches and elect a sane adult- then I will re-evaluate. But right now? Total shithole.
