<<Sorry, I translated 'hiring freeze' into cut backs on R&D. At HP, it
means about the same thing!>>

Well, I have to disagree with you on this. Just finished listening to the CC and nothing about freezing the R&D was mentioned. In fact, one analyist (can't remember who) was surprised that R&D was at $24 MM. The CFO said that was pretty much in line and went on to state the previous Q's R&D expenditures and how they have increased sequentially.

Ken, it's one thing to share info whether postive or negative, however, you are not contributing at all. What your doing is gleeing and rubing it in our face, which is fine If I along with othres (except cRocky) were in the second grade. If you have that kind of mentality then I can only tell you one thing. Your wasting your time.

kp...shame on you! I enjoy your thought provoking posts and agree and disagree in about equal measure. That said, I'm gonna remember, "We'll never see $.14 again (in this century)." Reminds me of Jimmy Rogers (CNBC) guaranteeing (sp?) several years ago that INTC would never, never, ever again see $80. BTW, that was TWO splits ago! Good luck in all you do.

Ken:
I don't think you'll be able to short IOM...all the institutions and big clients get 1st dibs at shorting. I've tried to short IOM several times in the past, and my broker (Charles Schwab) told me, every time, they had no shorts left.

P.S. Clik is a failure. It'll be too complex and fragile mechanically and expensive compared to the solid state storage devices which are becoming the "standard" in digital cameras and other devices. It sure looks neat though...(saw it at COMDEX).

>>I'll say this right now: We'll never see $.14 again (in this century)<<

A stong statement. I'll say this: We may see .14 again as soon as Q2, but certainly by Q4.
