Supply & Demand
When the TA has calls for certs, and there is no more inventory, the TA will tell the MM's the shorts must be covered, to buy shares on the open Market, to get certs to the TA to be put in 'name'...our sell orders start high, but they'll find some cheap, no doubt. AS we sell, the MM's buy to cover their short and square things with the TA....whatever they shorted against their inventory must be covered when the inventory runs out....they must buy at whatever prices they can get shares at....they must cover!

>>Let's assume Pugs is correct when he says that there are five or six million naked shorts. <<

I would never assume Pugs to be correct, if his posting history has shown anything, it has shown he makes statements that cannot be verifed. Since August there haven't even been enough shares traded to account for 6 million naked shorts.

>>A lot of people will be left holding the bag.<< I think you've got it. Whoever buys into the squeeze fairytale, will be trying to get out a very narrow exit that is jammed with sellers hoping to sell into the hype, IMO.
