I did not say uneducated people are unkind. In fact when Gregory Bateson and Margaret mead studied the tribes in New Guinea they could not figure out why some tribes were kind and some were not. I am talking about the human species in the aggregate. I think kindness and empathy have a genetic basis, especially in women, but profound kindness must be learned.. << Someone who isn't consciously thinking about it and changing their behavior because of it might want to not claim that education makes people kind and that people that aren't educated aren't likely to be kind.
