Just about any true believer in anything will say it- I love it when it comes from the imaginary friend crowd. I get it- their little friend just SEEMS so real...why doesn't everyone believe the way they do? Says every zealot ever.

I do admit my ideas require a belief in science.

But that is all I am posting, hopefully, science and I hope some logic (which is its own form of science)..

If people's myths contradict science and that bothers them, that is a delicate dilemma for everyone, and it is tough to resolve, but must be resolved, IMO.

I believe, and all the historical data confirms, that the more people embrace science and logic, the better off they are.

Burke and Ornstein, in their book The Axe Makers Gift make the point that when the Greeks invented a functional written language around 3,000 years ago, myths declined.

So the people who want to live by myths do have reason to be concerned.

Koan, many people says this about their own beliefs when push comes to shove.

>> I don't know how anyone cannot see the truth of most of what I post? It is pretty basic stuff.
