>>RE: My Favorite Quote from the Conference Call!

"We will continue our unique strategy of making money in this business and monitor demand closely to determine when to consider pricing actions."

Yeah, I caught that one too. I thought it was funny myself. The problem with it though is that let's say SYQuest and others are indeed selling their stuff at a loss. This still doesn't help Iomega any. The sales are still being diverted away from KE's coffers. "But SyQuest will go out of business" some may say. Not likely. Due to current Bankruptcy Laws, it is very difficult for a company as large as SyQuest to go totally under. You have to pull something like a Bre-X to get totally washed out. Syquest can re-organize, dilute their stock even more, and still function as a IOM revenue sapping machine.

I believe Syquest is in for the longer haul, and will scrounge out their measly existence selling big, fast, affordable drives. Quest should do very well in its niche. Jaz2 will have trouble.

SYQT stock will basically do little, as will IOM. The overall trading volume in IOM has been steadily going down for the past 2 years, as interest in the Zip story wanes.
