It seems you completely missed the point. Do you really think the same dangers exist today for two world wars in Europe that happened in the last century?

Really? Because that seems to be your point.

Last century France built the Maginot line to protect against Germany. Do you think France today worries about Germany invading them? Or any European country invading another.

They "evolved" to the point they now have an EU and common currency.

Can you not see the political and social evolution that has happened in the last 100 years?
