I really don't understand why Iomega got slammed like it did -- from $13/sh to $9 in after-hours trading, all because it missed it's estimates by a penny. I bought yesterday at $12.75 in anticipation of the stock moving into the $13-$15 range today. Bought more this morning at $8.75, thinking there's got to be a bottom here somewhere.

NEW YORK, Jan 22 (Reuters) - Shares in Iomega Corp fell in pre-opening trade Friday after the computer storage company reported fourth-quarter diluted earnings of $0.13 a share.
The company's shares were trading at 9-1/8, down from a Thursday closing price of 12-12/16. The shares had fallen in after-hours trade to 9-63/64.

Iomega reported Thursday that its fourth-quarter earnings were up from a year ago but they appeared to fall short of Wall Street estimates.

Consensus Estimates
This Quarter (Dec 97) 0.16
This Year (Dec 97) 0.45
Next Year 0.63

Best wishes,
