If one wants to travel, where can one find fuel.
Tesla does a great job listing the recharging stations along a trip's route. You do have to plan ahead, though.
If one wants to tow a trailer, what is the loss of range.
Who uses an electric car to tow a trailer? I know I wouldn't.

Personally, though, I'm a bit more concerned about cold weather. That's not really a concern here in California until I take trips to Lake Tahoe.
What is the annual property tax on 70K and what is the insurance cost for 70k. it is laughably stupid economics.
So is a BMW, but hey, I drove one for over 12 years and 200K miles.

Either way, if I get a Tesla, it won't be to make an environmental statement, although a lot of environmentalists will end up praising my decision.
