My Mom was raised on a farm the last of 11 children, she had a thing against men because of the injustices against women she had seen growing up, I don't remember getting hugs or kiss's from my Mom, lucky for me I had other positive female influences as a young boy, My Grandma showed her love for me all the time and I got along well with an older sister. My Grandma had a mischievous streak, although she thought women smoking in public was not proper she smoked a corn cob pipe in her home, when I was 8yrs old she had me try smoking it, I got sick, probably one of the reason i've never smoked tobacco LOL
