Jack and All,

Who else does charts? Jack, do you do charts? I'm not sure that this number of ~9 should be on the chart. The real close was 12 3/4. That's the number that was fair game for all to trade by the end of the market day. This after hours stuff is not a real market. It should not be recorded on the charts. IMO we should record a close that is reflective of the market for this stock. Therefore, I am ignoring this after hours action for the most part in my chart work. I would be surprised to see the stock open at 9, but maybe I'm too inexperienced to know. Heck, I have never seen a candle this long on any of my stocks before!

It's crazy considering Iomega, as per their numbers, actually did good business this quarter. I'll never figure the fundamentalists. They go through all the bother of figuring the actual numbers, only to frow up all over themselves and everybody else when their imaginary numbers aren't met! Or better yet, when they would rather focus on a quarter even further out! They are the tea leaf readers after all!

Well, guess we'll see tomorrow.

Hi Jak!, Well so much for what I know. Disappointed with the results due to my expectations, but as a company it looks like they are still doing very well. I did note that their reserve for inventory had jumped from around 26 mil to 42 mil, the reserve for channel rebates jumped 3 mil and for bad debt $750, thou. For a total reserve increase of approx. 20 mil. hmmmm ( .08 eps )

About the new advertising program, I feel that the computer literate techie group have already been informed about the attributes of Zip and there's a need to inform the average user . Almost all of my first time computer customers and a lot of my old time customers have not heard of Zip, this will make retail sales easier.

A couple of comments on the new products that didn't ship.
I have a list of people ( some wanting to prepay ) waiting for Buz.
We also had people putting off Jaz purchases due to the Jaz II release.

I thought that the conference call was an overall good call with
decent questions.
