Bellvie, RSE announced on 11/21/97 that they wished to convert to a REIT. The stock ran from the low 28 range back to it's old high of 33 before settling near 31. ALL in one day. So the market has already discounted much of the conversion to a REIT, but that doesn't mean RSE won't be a great long term investment. I just know nothing about CPI and will wait for RSE to settle into a trading range before tinkering with it. With the paired-share hype, it may run to 40 before people stop and think will it be worth 40. Richard
