That looks unbelievable. It is unbelievable and flies directly in the face of the known facts and science. It may have been the warmest September since whenever... but the Sun is going through an historic low in it's activity. It's not just Zharkova that is saying this. Papers get published (at least 50% I would say) just to get individuals CV looking good imho. Pro Global Warming papers are well received these days... The gnomes of Zurich may have better advice, but that is the current "Advice du Jour" that is to be dispensed to the public as I see it. The basic science is very clear on this, you dont even need any climate model far as I know. Its like you giving me a sophisticated computer model that predicts a rubber ball I drop on the ground isn't going to bounce off a hard tile floor... It's at that type of science level.
