What's hurt the Republican Party in Texas is the unlimited hispanics crossing the border illegally. In addition, you can't understate the cancerous liberal ideology in the heart of Texas that is Austin. Those things spread like fire among young people. Texas will fall eventually. Demographics is destiny. Of course, you'll blame that on Trump, but this move was baked in the cards long ago. You may hate Trump and even I sometimes wonder why he says the things he does, but here's how I see it. The choice is pretty easy. It's between Socialism, Communism, and Totalitarianism starting in Jan 2021, or a delay until Jan 2025. I'll vote for Trump and get a delay on that, thank you. My family fled Cuba to get away from that shit and here the Democrats are trying to turn the US into Cuba. No, thank you. It's amazing to me how you fail to see the bigger picture due to your blind hatred of Trump.
