While I agree about the importance of the remediation work, I was under the impression that the revenues from such work were limited by the number of engineers TPRO has currently and would be able to hire over the next year. The CDs provide revenue possibilities far beyond the capabilities of their engineers. Certainly I have no objections to giving a few CDs away to BMY, Unilever, GM, etc. Also the widespread dissemination and use of the CDs and TPRO data base is desirable simply because it will help lessen the impact of a Y2K catastrophe.
