<<The edge cannot lead the core, or else the benefits of ADSL will be lost to a bottleneck at the ISP or regional NAP>> This is exactly what happen with xDSL plays last year ( Amati, Pair,WSTl etc.) This initial euphoria about getting order of magnitude bandwidth performance using existing copper faded when folks realized that the present backbone wouldn't permit widespread adoption of ADSL. I agree with your analysis and that is why I feel ASND is a good way to play xDSL. Daniel
