As I said, sector did turn up. Oil service includes service, drillers and equipment. Those who trade the PHLX use the P&F signals on sectors to determine their risk. With the P&F chart on oil service reversed up from the lowest level it has been in eons, I imagine there will be some excited traders on the OSX. I haven't traded it myself but I'm thinkin' about it. This question has come up before. The OSX is what trades the oil service sector. The chart that determines the sector risk is called the Oil services bullish percent (BPOILS). The BPOILS will turn before the OSX does. It is a leading indicator. As long as the BPOILS remains bullish the OSX will follow. Understand? I discuss the BPOIL and will trade the OSX.
