I think Si is the second most plentiful element on earth, C is first..... Haven't seen any silicon trees but we do have lots of sand.... I don't think silicones occur naturally....but might elsewhere in universe.

So using that logic the organic equivalents would be Si-Li based compounds versus our C-H based compounds. Interesting to think about...
